The misty sunlight enters his tomb, the day
Stirring the tiny ships moored in the harbor
The moon has again faded away
Bedding herself in gossamer linen
And waves on distant shores of starlight
He rubs his sleepy eyes and scans the distance
In search of the one his soul chases each day in vain
Knowing his light chases her from the world
Her light draws him away to dream
And neither can be one with the other here
He recalls the few moments when the two meet
High upon the heavens as he covers here
Or she covers him and they embrace
For moments as the world watches
Their lights are hidden by their eclipse
